內審新手要具備的能力

看到了一篇文章, 根據幾百個美國及加拿大內審專家的意, 綜合分析了一個內部審計新手要具備的的能力, 分別是:

-Analytical and critical thinking
-Communication skills
-Data mining and analytics
-General IT knowledge
-Business acumen

要求都不是什麼特別知識, 不知你們有沒有

有就唔使做新人，但internal audit 最重要唔是top management support.  無佢地支持，個新人識飛都無用!

Depending on your career goal, this might not be a bad thing.  Without management support, you can just walk around all day drinking coffee, and still get paid.  This is great for lazy auditors who don't want to work!

短期時間就可以，長時間一定唔會俾你做得耐，INTERNAL AUDIT 俾起EXTERNAL AUDIT仲難做，因為INTERNAL AUDIT一定要找到問題，否則就是INTERNAL AUDIT一定有問題。

Agreed, assuming you work in a normal company.  I have seen some firms (mainly investment banking ones) where the internal audit dept's one and only purpose is to be the scapegoat for the sales people and the external audit team.  Basically, management wants periodic internal control reports just to show 3rd party that the have a process in place... If internal auditor raise an issue with a high producing sales person, the auditor is told not to bother the revenue generating units.  If something goes wrong (regulators or external audit), they will fire the internal audit team, but never the sales people.  Auditors are treated like disposable napkins... It's sad.

But I do agree with you, you can't get away for being lazy at most places.
