Yes banking jobs are still better than many other jobs in the other sectors now, especially if you get hired by international banks.
However, note that although banks are not firing as much people as they did in 2008, many banks are not hiring or are only hiring very few people. Getting a banking job is very competitive now so please be prepared. But the reward will be good if you manage to get an offer~
