This system is cleantracking, low in distortion, detailed, low in noise and high in resolution, pitch-stable, and musically agreeable. I do not see how one could ask for a lot more at the price. I pulled out many a vinyl favorite with much satisfaction. You will, too."
我不懂 Marantz 黑膠系統，perhaps, it was basically a Japanese design . What happened was Superscope sold Marantz to the Japanese (Denon?), think back in the 80's. Anyway, Marantz went downhill ever since... As far as I know, they have never reestablished any reputations since Model 500 power amp. Light weight acrylic resin chassis (plastic molded) and cheap, ugly bearing tone arm kinda try make some not so experience users believe it is high end.... No servo motor, no pitch control and don't see any voltage regulators. It is considered low end in the 70s and 80s lol.. It is expensive because not many making them anymore. Don't mean to offend anyone. I am sorry if that is the case.
Well, even a not so perfect turn table will probably out perform most CD players...黑膠 is just better, period...
You can get the rock based Kenwood KD 500 Turntable used (no arm) maybe for a bit over 1k HKD, or the 600 if you like Quartz Lock. Great turn table for the money.

These are good tone arms...hehe. Left is SAEC 10" arm (drill your own hole if over 9 in) and right side is the Infinity Black Widow carbon fiber tone arm

黑膠盆我只係第一套音響組合山水玩過，跟著叫做玩過LINN，無耐都嫌煩賣埋。想差我都無用，因我跟本都唔曉
呢部馬蘭士機身好有型~
