Retired in Taiwan

Anyone currently living (retired) in Taiwan?  How much do you need monthly to retire there (=rent, food etc. for a reasonable life outside Taipei)?

For living in city, 20K is just ok. Otherwise, 15K will be good in country side.
Rent is major difference.

Thanks.  It looks like the ticket price is around US$ 200,000 for investment immigration.  Any Ching has experience in this?  (any straight forward, easier way to meet the requirement?)
