埃及, 好正, 古埃及建築文化都好有特色  
見到乃居住同飲食都唔錯  ...

A must go place ...........& need to go earlier

The reason is that those Egyptians have not got a strong sense of conservation of their Antique & Monuments because it realy surprised me that a tourist could touch most of  the sculpture or the paint wall.   If you go there 10 years or 20 years later,  the quality of the monument may have to be deteriorated or the color of the painted wall may vanish~!

It's so amazing how they managed to build these pyramids and stuff in those days. I really admire their man-power and craftmanship!

ching so lucky visited there 2 yrs ago.
there political unstable until now..i think have to wait after many years then only can consider that place

我都好想去埃及, 可惜未有機會去.
以前看過電視, 早就被圖坦卡門的故事和他的金字塔吸引.
不知道能不能進入他的金字塔 ?
但他金字塔內的物品, 應該要在開羅博物館才能看到吧 ?

Well, certainly a good place to visit if you were not there before. But I doubted if you would go there a second time. Too tiring and boring after visiting and seeing those temples in the desert areas for so many days if you were joining the tour. Those historic temples and tombs were so robbed that only the structures and carvings on the stone walls were left.  Those ancient objects, antiquities not robbed were moved to the Egypt Museum and are worth looking at.  Most of the visitors, however said that you see more precious ones in the British Museum. The food there is also not to our taste except the pizza.

Anyway its still worth visiting for once in you lifetime. After all its older than China, our homeland.

Thanks for the nice pictures and description from brother schmid9394, especially those pictures of Port Alexandria, since this place is not included in almost all tours.
